A meeting of the Judicial Nominating Commission will be held at the Department of Administration, One Capitol Hill, Third Floor, Conference Room 2, Providence, Rhode Island on December 16th, 2003 starting at 4:00 PM for the following purposes:

1. To interview applicant William C. Clifton for the position of Associate Justice of the Rhode Island District Court.



2. To approve minutes of November 25, 2003 meeting.

A public meeting of the Judicial Nominating Commission will be held at the Department of Administration in Conference Room B on the 2nd Floor, on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 starting at 5:00 p.m. for the following purposes:

1. To receive and consider public comment about the following applicants under consideration to fill the current vacancy on the Rhode Island District Court created by the retirement of Associate Justice Rahill: Michael E. Civittolo, William C. Clifton, Domenic A. DiSandro III, Robert E. Hardiman, Robert H. Humphrey, Nina Ricci Igliozzi, Joseph P. Ippolito, Mary Ellen McQueeney-Lally, Kristin E. Rodgers, Harris K. Weiner, and Partrick Youngs III.



2. To consider and act upon such matters as may be considered at a meeting closed to the the public pursuant to the Open Meetings Law, including, but not limited to "...discussion of the job performance, character, or physical or mental health of a person or persons ..." pursuant to RIGL § 42-46-5(a)(1).
